The Pie in the Sky Holiday Challenge

Dear Friend,

In the past, Pie in the Sky has given every senior we serve a Christmas stocking of donated items put together with love by our amazing volunteers.

As we’re now serving 980 seniors (and growing daily), we simply no longer have the space to store and sort nearly a thousand stockings and still run our weekly produce program safely and efficiently. We’ve also realized that the items we’ve placed in those stockings, though given with love, may not always be needed.

To address these challenges and make this year more meaningful, we want to give each senior a $25 Winn Dixie gift card. The gift card will be tucked inside a small holiday bag with a fresh orange, chocolate, and our traditional volunteer photo Christmas card. This simpler approach addresses our challenges and offers our seniors choice, comfort, and holiday dignity by allowing them to select something they truly want or need.

To make this possible, we need to raise $24,500.

To get there, we’re inviting you, our Pie family, to join us in a new way:

Adopt a Senior – $25

Adopt half a Route (5 seniors) - $125

Adopt a Route (10 seniors) – $250

Together, through your generosity and our wonderful volunteers, we can make the holidays brighter for every senior we serve with this gift of independence and joy!

Wishing each of you and yours an amazing holiday.
